An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Coordinator to join a team working with the National Standards Assessment Program (NSAP). This program works with palliative care services across Australia to assist their assessment of meeting the national palliative care standards.
The National Standards Assessment Program is administered by Palliative Care Australia, a dynamic and forward-thinking national peak organisation whose mission is to influence, foster and promote the delivery of quality care at the end of life for all.
Reporting to the Manager of NSAP, this position will work closely with the team running NSAP. The NSAP Quality Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks:
- planning and management of workshops to support implementation of improvement action plans
- developing resources to support improvement efforts at service levels
- planning and management of workshops to support improvement collaboratives
- managing tasks related to running additional workshops and small events
- collating information from NSAP that leads to quality improvement activities
- collating information from NSAP that will support report writing and recommendation’s papers
- supporting the Manager, NSAP
- working as part of a team supporting NSAP.
To be successful in this role, the applicant will have knowledge and demonstrated excellence in communication skills; leading quality improvement programs across organisations; quality improvement methodology; planning, coordination and organisational skills; the Microsoft Office Suite; time management, and team work.
